How did it come to this? A mere Five years ago a fellow co-worker back in London had to literally force me to take her old Nokia phone and the sim card she had bought me as a present.

I was young, stubborn and back home in Canada payphone calls were just twenty five cents and you could talk as long as you wanted (not any more though).

And then this funny thing happened, I went from genuinely not needing a mobile phone to breaking out into cold sweats if I had forgotten it at home.

Now finally due to blogging I have faced the reality that I need a Blackberry or some similar device. The only perk of my previous reception jobs was all day internet access enabling me to blog my heart out three times a day and to leave a zillion comments on the multitude of blogs that I love.

Well if I must succumb then let me at least be stylish.

With a little help from Nigel Dennis and Case-Mate I was able to design my own Blackberry case (above picture) in a very cool paint-esque fashion.

I found the site addictive and didn't stop there; I created two more designs using graphics by Hannah Stouffer and Thomas Hooper.
